Recently, I bought new equipment for my GoPro. A friend of mine said that a GoPro camera should come with different accessories for it to be really functional and to make the most out of it. At first, I didn’t know what to get since there are tons of accessories that go along with a GoPro camera, so I decided to just buy them all! Frankly, some of them I don’t know what they’re for, but I’ll try to make logical guesses.

Since I’m no expert when it comes to naming some of these things, I’ll be naming them however I see and use them, but you guys are welcome to correct me in this.

When I bought my GoPro HERO, it came along with a USB cable, two different kinds of mount: a flat mount and a curved mount, a screw, a waterproof case, two kinds of doors: a waterproof door and a door with two rectangular holes (for better audio and easier access to the cable slot), sticky pads, and a white rubber thing that fills the remaining space when you slide your GoPro into a mount.

Just in case I run out of sticky pads (which, eventually, I will), I bought some extra, along with the other accessories that came with the camera:

This is the white thing I’m talking about.

I was having a hard time tightening the screw to hold the camera securely in place on the mount, so I bought this thing. I just plug the screw in it and crank away!

This one is probably a stethoscope or a sperm cell, but logically speaking, maybe you can attach a mount on it to make your camera like a keychain or something. Moving on.

Some double-sided tape, I think.

I think this one is for biking but I’m not using it yet, though I have a bike.

Now, for the fun part! These are the ones I really love. I got a selfie stick

…a clamp for clipping the camera onto bars or something…

This is a chest support, for when you want to place the camera on your front to get your POV filmed.

I use this one for when I’m gripping the camera by hand. It has a Velcro strap that you can wrap around your hand without worrying about the camera falling to the ground.

A head strap.

I don’t know what this is, but maybe it is used to attach the camera between monkey bars.

This one is for plugging the camera onto a smooth and flat surface, like at the side of your car, on your dashboard, or simply on your desk.

I use this one for attaching my camera onto the selfie stick.

A small bag and a large bag.

And finally, the case. My dad accidentally threw the foam into the trash bin. I only found out about it when I went home from school and the truck took the trash away already. So unfortunate, but I improvised using another foam and cut out the shapes of the accessories.

You may notice that I’m not really sure of the things I’m blabbering about right here. I recently bought these and I’m taking little steps on using each item and learning how to use them… so wish me luck! 🙂

Thank you for taking the time to read this. Cheerio! (Oh, and I also got 3 GoPro stickers! Cool!)
